Enjoy a full day out on our sister island Kefalonia. We take you with our air-conditioned coach to Ag. Nikolaos to the north of the island, here we catch our ferry to Pesada in the south of Kefalonia.
Our first stop is to the monastery of St. Gerrassimos, here we have time to see the amazing gold and paintings in the beautiful new church as well as the old part of the monastery to the rear. We then make our way to the Drogarati Caves, we get time to visit the caves which are stunning.
Then to Melissani underground lake, here you can enjoy the views with a row around the lake in the small boats, the colours are amazing. After a busy morning, we head to Agia Efimia, which is a lovely fishing village towards the north of the island, where we have a stop for a rest and some lunch.
After our refreshing stop, see the famous Myrtos beach for some photos. The beach was used in the Captain Corelli film. We finish off with a short stop in Argostoli the capital, before making our journey back home.
